InDesign work shop 2

For our in design tutorial we were learning how to set up a document for the task we have been set, which is a two page documentation on an animal we had been selected.
We first started by going through several ways of setting up a new document with a double page spread, we added 2 pages to the document and a bleed.

When the document opens you get a double page spread but the pages aren't next to each other, and when dragged together dont do anything. you have to right click on the page and select the option 'allow document pages to shuffle'.

We were told how to print the document correctly once we had finished our double page spread

By dragging down from the ruler side bars you can create guides on your page, this is useful for custom positioning on certain things but we were also told how the guide option for the layout menu

Importing images onto InDesign isn't an easy process you usually have to work through photoshop to get the image to the right size and quality.
